Barb & Duane Dittmer wrote on May 15, 2019:

"Having been next-door neighbors for over 50 yrs we spent many fun times with them. Card club, farm meetings and classes and Duane and Shorty farming side by side. Eleanor was always ready to go anywhere I suggested and we spent a lot of time running between farms and moving machinery around. She loved to visit so we had many long and deep conversations over the years. We truly enjoyed them as neighbors for all those years and missed them when they moved to town. Our sympathy to Pat, Kathy and families."

Carolyn Schuller wrote on May 14, 2019:

"Have missed seeing Eleanor since I moved. I recall taking her to Lenten fish suppers in West Bend and weekly euchre group. She would sit in my car for an hour and visit afterwards. Sympathy to her family. Eleanor is at peace."

Rich Hildman wrote on May 13, 2019:

"My brother and sisters always enjoyed visiting our Uncle Shorty and Aunt Eleanor on the farm. We had fun and laughed at the stories Shorty and Eleanor would share. As kids, the best thing about going to their house was Shorty would always get out the ice cream. Their freezer always had Schwan's ice cream in it and Shorty would give you as much as you wanted. We will surely miss Shorty and Eleanor but we will always remember the good times and fun we had with them. Rich Hildman "
