Barbara Case

Barbara Rae Case, age 77, of Quincy and formerly of Port Huron, MI, died on Sunday, February 17, 2019, at 5:12 a.m. in Blessing Hospital.

Barbara was born October 8, 1941 in Detroit MI, the daughter of Elmer Ranson and Mildred Anita Miller Case.

Barbara was a member of Blue Water Free Methodist Church in Michigan where she was involved with Harbor Impact Ministries, which provides substantive assistance in all areas to those without minimal resources. In Quincy she was a member of The Crossing, where she faithfully attended Bible study. Barbara also regularly participated in water aerobics at the YMCA in Michigan and at The Kroc Center in Quincy. In her spare time, Barbara enjoyed playing word games and Candy Crush.

Survivors include: four children: Tammy (Dave) Kerr of Osprey, FL; Sandy McMann of Jeddo, MI; Rebecca Greenwood of Quincy; and Jeffrey (Veronica) Berube of Abilene, TX; eight grandchildren: Christopher Allen Sopha of Osprey, FL; Michael James (Jennifer) Mirovsky of Port Huron, MI; Brian (Andrea) McMann of Port Huron, MI; Daniel (Vanessa) McMann of Bellingham, WA; Barbara Greenwood of Quincy; John Greenwood of Bremerton, WA; Travis Berube of Lancaster, TX; and John Berube of Abilene, TX; 13 great grandchildren: Tyler, Allen, Corey, Ashley, Ariana, Taylyn, Bryant, Brandon, Christian, Logan, Abigail, Travis Jr., and Avery; two sisters: Joan Rzeszut of Memphis, MI; and Mary Ann (David) Hunter of Macomb, MI; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Stephen Ray Lambert; a granddaughter, Stephanie Rae McMann; and a brother, Tedd Case.

Services: Barbara was cremated as per her wishes. There will be no service.

Memorials: Harbor Impact Ministries or Quincy Humane Society
