Norma Jean Dietrich, age 88, of Fort Myers, FL and formerly of Quincy, died on Friday, January 27, 2017 in Ft. Meyers, FL.
She was born March 13, 1928 in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond W. and Lillian Maas Peters.
On September 4, 1948 she married Robert Steinbrecher in St. Mary's Catholic Church. He preced her in death July 10, 1978. On September 22, 1983, she married Francis H. Dietrich in St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox, IL. He preceded her in death on November 2, 2016.
Mrs. Dietrich retired from Moorman Mfg. Co. after 28 1/2 years as an accounting clerk. While in Quincy she was a member of St. Mary's Church, St. Mary's Alter Society and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. In Ft. Myers she was a member of The Church of the Resurrection.
Survivors in addition to her husband include a step son, Jeff (Becky) Dietrich, Ohio; a step daughter, Patricia Hussong, Quincy ; seven step grandchildren, three step great grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Peters, Peoria, IL; three sisters, Marcia Waschenbach, Kahoka, MO; Sharon Meyer, Quincy, IL; Madelyn Pressey, Borden, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
Services: 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Church of St. Peter, with Monsignor Leo Enlow officiating.
