Martin Leo Tarzwell, age 86, of 1946 Elmwood Dr. East, Quincy died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 2:50 pm in Blessing Hospital.
He was born June 6, 1921 in Jacksonville, Illinois the son of Jesse Cornelius and Mary Lonergan Tarzwell. On July 22, 1948 he married Lucie Elizabeth Perkins in Murrayville, IL. She survives.
Leo was a hearing aid specialist and optician in Quincy for many years.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his son, Rick Tarzwell of St. Peters, MO.
Prayers will be Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 9:30 am in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 am in Blessed Sacrament Church with Monsignor Michael Kuse officiating.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 4-7pm at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Blessed Sacrament Church or the St. Vincent DePaul Society at Blessed Sacrament Church.
Hansen-Spear Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
