Crystal Gramke

Crystal Gramke, 30, 2303 Mary Lane, Quincy, fought a long battle with Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic disease. She won that battle on July 16, 2004 when she went home to be with her Savior.

She was born April 6, 1974 in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Gerald "Jerry" E. Gramke and Linda Maples Gramke.

Crystal attended St. Francis School and graduated in 1992 from Quincy Notre Dame High School. She worked at Quincy Medical Group for eight years and resigned due to ill health. She was a member of New Beginnings E-Free Church in Quincy.

Survivors include her father Jerry Gramke, her mother and, stepfather Linda and Jim Hawkins, 2 sisters, Lori Arrowsmith and her husband Jamie, and Carrie Gramke, all of Quincy; nieces, Jessica Hoerr, Taylor, MO; Brooke Gramke, Kendall Gramke, Blake Hunter, Avery Gramke, all of Quincy; nephews, Tyler Arrowsmith, Ashton Gramke, Quincy; paternal grandparents Edward and Mary Ann Gramke, Quincy; an aunt and uncle, Carolyn and Marvin Fuller, Payson; cousins, George Fuller, Canton, IL; Greg Fuller, Liberty; John Fuller, Payson; and dear friends, Dwayne and Becky Goodwin, Palmyra, MO. She was preceded in death by by her maternal grandparents Thomas and Dorothy Maples and her stepsister Nicole Hawkins.

Funeral Services will be 11 A.M. Monday, July 19, at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, Dr. Tom Henderson officiating. Burial in Greenmount Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 P.M. Sunday at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to New Beginnings E-Free Church.
