Anthony James Valentini, age 2, of 205 Stadium Dr., Quincy died Sunday, December 21, 2003 around 1:30 pm in St. Louis Children's Hospital.

He was born October 22, 2001 in Long Beach, California, the son of Matthew Valentini and Angelique Morriss.

Survivors include his mother, Angelique Morriss, Liberty; his father, Matthew Valentini, Lakewood, CA; maternal grandparents, Robert and Jane Morriss, Liberty; paternal grandparents, Rozanne Valentini , Oceanside, CA; Carl Valentini, Lakewood, CA; maternal great grandparents, Rosalie Rottmann, Quincy; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Morriss, Sr., Oceanside, CA; Mary Thompson, Hannibal, MO; maternal great great grandmother, Vella Akin, Hannibal, MO; 3 uncles, Robert Lee Morriss, III, Lake Havasu City, AZ; Lucas Morriss, Liberty; Greg Valentini, Lakewood, CA; numerous great aunts and uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Robert Rottmann, and 2 great uncles, Greg Rottmann and Darrell Morriss.

Funeral Services will be 1:30 pm Monday, December 29,2003 at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, Rev Jerry Harris and Rev Roger Selves officiating. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Illinois. The family will receive friends from 12 - 1:30pm Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Louis Children's Hospital, Blessing Foundation for Intensive Care Unit or Anthony Valentini Trust Fund at Mercantile Bank.
