Phillip W. Stultz, age 58, of 718 Edgewood, Quincy, died Sunday, April 27, 2003 at 5:55 am in Blessing Hospital.

He was born August 5, 1944 in Quincy, Illinois, the son of Harold and Beverly Clapper Stultz. On December 30, 1983, he married Deloras "Sis" Stanbridge in Palmyra, Missouri. She survives.

Phillip earned his Eagle Scout award and was a graduate of Shelbina High School. He attended North East Missouri State University and was Fabrication Manager at Harris Corporation where he had been employed for 30 years. He was an avid boater and belonged to the Quincy Boat Club where he was a Commodore for 2 years. He was also a member of the South Side Boat Club. He had been a member of the Quincy Jaycees.

Survivors in addition to his wife are his mother, Beverly Stultz, Shelbina, MO; 3 children, Robin Hurley, Council Bluffs, IA; Todd Hurley, Quincy, and Tracy Hurley, Bellevue, NE; 5 grandchildren, Jeremy Schuttler, Kansas City, MO; Jennifer Schuttler, Council Bluffs, IA; Joshua Hurley, Council Bluffs, IA; Kody Bonzo, Council Bluffs, IA; Jordan Hurley, Quincy; 1 step grandchild, Alex Brown, Quincy; 3 brothers and 3 sisters, Suzanne Cloyd and her husband Jerry, Lamar, MO; Donnie Stultz and his wife, Linda, Shelbina, MO; Sarah Bradley, Mexico, MO; Sharon Stultz, Mexico, MO; Ricky Stultz, Shel bina, MO; Randy Stultz, Shelbina, MO; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at 10:30 am in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, Rev. Henry Pratt officiating. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Illinois. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 4-7 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Saukee Area Council of Boy Scouts or Faith Christian Church.
