Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather Lloyd K. Pryor, 88, 623 S. 18th, Quincy, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2001 at 2:35 am in his home.

He was born September 18, 1912 in Barry, Illinois, the son of Grover and Alta Jane Mason Pryor. On December 30, 1936, he married Luellen Gronewold in Lewistown, Illinois.

He was employed at Knapheide Equipment Company for over 30 years, retiring as a supervisor. He was a life member of South Side Boat Club, and a member of Marcelline Masonic Lodge with a 32nd degree, and he was a member of Bodley Lodge #1, A. F. & A. M. in Quincy.

Survivors include his children, Lois Dailing and her husband Sonny, Marblehead, Lee Pryor and his wife Barbara, Plainville, IL, Linda Catlett and her husband Larry, Coatsburg, IL, Lynnette Alberchinski and her husband Carl, Quincy, Lloyd Pryor, Jr. and his wife Bev, Quincy, 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, and a sister Leota Hendrickson, Quincy. He also was preceded in death by his parents, one son Bruce Pryor, one daughter, 2 brothers Roy and Marcus, 2 grandchildren, Lori Ann Dailing and Linda Lou Dailing, a great grandchild Joshua Douglas Needles.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Monday, July 23, 2001 at 10am in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, Rev. Carol Blackwell officiating. Burial in New Providence, Ursa, Illinois. The family will receive friends from 4-7pm Sunday at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home. Bodley Lodge #1, A. F. and A. M. will conduct Masonic services Sunday evening at 7pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Children's Home, LaGrange, IL or Blessing Foundation for Hospice.
