Scott Epker, 37, 400 So. 6th, LaGrange, and formerly of 1025 Elm, Quincy died Saturday, May 5, 2001 at 8:00 am in his home.
He was born April 20, 1964 in Quincy, Illinois, the son of Donald and Brenda Selby Epker. On September 20, 2000, he married Tammy Gipson in Quincy. She survives.
He was a 1984 Quincy High School graduate. He was employed by Konstant Products, and had been a tree trimmer and roofer.
Survivors in addition to his wife are his mother, Brenda Epker, Quincy; daughter, Amber Barger, Quincy; 1step son, Kristopher Lucas, LaGrange, MO; 2 grandmothers, Faye Cooper, Quincy; Virginia Epker, Osage Beach, MO; a sister, Lana Jo Epker, Quincy; a niece, Vanessa Rae Knight, Quincy.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, Rev. George Tomko officiating. Burial in Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Illinois. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of services.
