Marilyn June Turner (Swain) age 75, Decatur, died Friday, April 13, 2001 at the Decatur Memorial Hospital.
She was born November 11, 1925 in Lane, Illinois, the daughter of Thomas and Mabel Buhr Swain. On March 9, 1944, she married James H. Turner. He preceded her in death in 1987.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Sharon Allen Nance, Decatur, Linda Snow & her husband Jim, Macon and Debbie Goveia and her husband Dan, Decatur; 1 son, Jim Turner and his wife Julie, Decatur ,17 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Norma Wrighthouse and her husband George, Cerro Gordo, IL and 1 niece, Bonnie Hawkins and her husband Jerry, Decatur. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 granddaughters Angel and Samantha Snow.
Graveside services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 P.M. in Greenpond Cemetery with Mr. LaDon Johnson officiating. Friends are invited. Memorials may be given to Greenpond Cemetery Association.
