"Remembering all the experiences, friendships and life lessons I gained growing up in Mr Madison's Troop 28. He gave tirelessly of himself so hundreds of Quincy boys could grow with values and discipline they would share with others as Mr Madison's legacy continues! All those miles we rode in that old VW bus, ahh, sweet memories. Rest In Peace, Odie."

"I will always miss Odie! He was a special person, not only to me, but to many, many other people who knew him. He was a man and a person that had a deep well of information and future vision and guidance. I am sorry that I found out about his passing, at this late point in time. He was, in my opinion, a person, "for the ages"!!!!! GOD BLESS ODIE!!!! A REAL PERSON TO REMEMBER AND LOOK UP TO."
