Dorothy M. Lansdown, 91, 1410 West Line, Palmyra, and formerly of 1136 North 30th. died Sunday, January 23, 2000 at the Maple Lawn Nursing Home.
She was born March 25, 1908 in Augusta, Illinois, the daughter of Abraham and Nancy Hanks Cooper Worman.
On September 3, 1932, she married Bernard Lansdown. He preceded her in death on July 29, 1981.
She was a graduate of Augusta High School. She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Peggy Craneand her husband Harold, Hannibal, MO; Bonnie Blattner and her husband Donald, Quincy, IL; 4 grandchildren, Kimberly Bross and her husband Michael, Hannibal, MO; Kamila Cozort and her husband Chris, San Francisco, CA; Lisa Howerton and her husband Jim, Quincy, IL; Jeff Blattner and his wife Renee, Quincy, IL; 4 great grandchildren, Kristiana and Cameron Cozort, both of San Francisco, CA; Christian Blattner, Quincy, IL; Savannah Howerton, Quincy, IL; 1 sister, Mary Argall, Hillcrest, IL; several nieces and nephews, .
She also was preceded in death by her parents, brother George and 7 sisters Bernice Roberts, Carol Worman, Inez Burton, Helen Hagmeyer, Betty Riley, Alice Nichols, and Grace Moore.
Funeral Services will be 10 am Thursday, January 27, at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, Rev. Oscar Natwick officiating. Burial in Quincy Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Wednesday at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.
