"Bernice was a very dear friend, she always called to see how things were going on the farm! She was so excited when we purchased Howard and Bernice?s farm...as we call it to this day ?the Richter Farm? we learned the history of the farm and of the BOYS growing up on the farm, and we had to meet these amazing guys for ourselves. We truly love this family and along with them share in their loss. As Glen would always say ?it won?t rust bust tear or show and wear? and that?s the way we regard our friendship! Our sympathy and prayers are with you all. God bless Larry and Betty "
"sorry for your loss What a wonderful friend she was. I never missed a day to visit with her "
"To families of Bernice, thinking of you all and sending hugs in loss of youre Mother. Sincerely,Larry and Joanne Small"
"So sorry for your loss. Bernice was a great neighbor to us in St. Charles years ago and so nice to our children. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. Mike & Wendy Miller"
"Our deepest sympathy on the loss of such a kind and sweet lady. Having lived close to the Richter family and riding the bus with Brian, I grew up knowing this gentle soul. Plus living and working in St. Charles I kept in touch with her for a very long time. She will be missed by many. I can only imagine all of the wonderful memories you all have. God bless your family. Janell and Orv Dahl"
"Living beside the Richter family on my parents farm was an experience I will always remember. Growing up with Lyman and "dropping by" usually on Sundays, I could always tell that the Richter's were a close knit family who seemed to always be smiling with "plenty of words of advice" to be spread around. Listening to Howard on his forever favorite "Minneapolis Moline" singing while harvesting crops is another memory that I will cherish forever. May God take Bernice into his kingdom where she will be welcomed with the dignity that is justly deserving."
"when you say the name Bernice Richter, I smile. I guess my memories of her are very fond. "
