Nita A. Blessman
Canton-Nita A. Blessman, 83, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Red Oak Estates in Canton.
She was born on June 15, 1935 in Rushville to Clarence and Pearl (Cramer) Reuss. They preceded her in death.
She married Claude E. Blessman on September 2, 1956 in Mason City. He survives.
Also surviving are two children Susan (Douglas) Miller of Rowlett Texas, Michael (Heather) Blessman of Canton, Seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Also preceding her in death are two brothers Don Reuss and Dick Reuss.
Nita was the book keeper for Blessman Pharmacy.
She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school, sang in the choir and various other activities. She was a member of the PEO Chapter JQ and the Altruistic Club.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at 11 am with a visitation one hour prior at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton.
Burial of the ashes will be held at the Mason City Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church.
