Charles H. Alden age 51 of Monticello Iowa died suddenly on Tuesday morning October 302007.0 at his home in Monticello Iowa.
A Natural Farewell with Private Family Graveside Services and Burial will be held at a later date from the Hickory Grove Cemetery rural Monmouth Iowa. A private family visitation will be held. Cremation rites will be accorded. The Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa is in charge of the arrangements.
Charles H. Alden was born on April 17 1956 in Maquoketa Iowa to Jerald Alden and Helen (Potter) Alden. He was baptized in the Baptist faith and was a graduate of Olin High School and then attended 2 years of college in Greeley and Sterling Colorado.
Charles had first worked with handicapped individuals for several years. He then became a self-employed handyman doing odd jobs such as painting and yard work for residents in Monticello.
Charles is survived by: his mother- Helen Alden of Monticello IA; brothers- John (Gala) Alden of Lost Nation IA & Joe Alden of Monticello IA; sisters- Jamie (David) Soper of Center Junction IA Julie Meineke of Anamosa IA Cheryl (Russ) Recker of Alburnett IA & Janella Lange of Preston IA; a special friend- Joyce Gassman of Monticello IA; & nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
