And when possible was outside until the cows came home When he became a grandfather, he took that role very seriously watching over them playing and teaching new things bad jokes, how to build new things. Steve had a unique sense of humor and loved tell to stories. He could find humor in almost anything and remember childhood antics better than anyone. He made sure that he taught that sense of humor to his children and grandkids.

Steve will always be loved and sadly missed for his sense of humor and storytelling.

"My brother, for me, was a trial at times...as all brothers tend to be. But we grew together, worked together, and share many of the most important moments of our lives. Each time I think of him I remember the F85 he built and ultimately wrecked. The times he, Dick, and I ran around the Quad Cities. He had passion and drive. I will always miss him."
