Frances Elizabeth Dreher known affectionately as Fran or Tootie, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, IA on June 29, 2017 at the age of 74

She was born in Des Moines, IA on March 6, 1943 to Edna Grace and George C. Skalicky. She graduated from Martensdale High School in 1961. She worked at Sirena Swimwear in California and EMC Insurance in Des Moines.

Fran enjoyed reading, gardening, crocheting, playing the guitar, spending time with her horses and cooking. She loved the Lord and enjoyed spending time in the mountains and visiting the ocean when she lived in California and Colorado.
Fran is predeceased by her parents Edna Grace and George C Skalicky, her brother Pete Skalicky, and sister Mary Ann Jack.

Fran is lovingly remembered by her children Richard (Janet) Porter III of Des Moines, IA; Susan Porter of Des Moines, IA; Julie Porter of Florida; Derryck (Angelia) Dreher of Pekin, IL; Bryna Henderson of Peoria, IL, and Michael (Veronica) Dreher of Peoria, IL; twenty grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother George (Katherine) Skalicky of Madrid, IA; and her sister Olga L (Stephen) Campbell of California.
