Victoria "Vicki" Lynne Telford

Victoria "Vicki" Telford, 71, of Norwalk-Des Moines, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2016 at Story County Medical Center in Nevada, Iowa. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 1:00 2:00 p.m. at the Norwalk United Methodist Church in Norwalk, Iowa. Memorial services will follow the visitation and begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve McElroy officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.
Vicki was born in Ottumwa, Iowa on March 17, 1945 to Howard and Lucille (Wilson) Davis. She attended school in Ottumwa and graduated in 1963. Following high school she went to college at AIB in Des Moines. She met Neal Telford in December of 1965 and later the couple got married on July 1, 1967 at the Methodist Church in Ottumwa, Iowa. Following the marriage the couple lived and worked in various states until settling in Norwalk, Iowa where they raised their family together. Vicki worked at Meredith Corporation as a computer operator and then worked for Dr. Skiped and Dr. Evens in Des Moines as a clinic technician before retiring in 2005. Vicki was a member of the Norwalk Methodist Church. She had a great love for her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Vicki also enjoyed camping, knitting, sewing, crocheting, cooking, playing cards, playing cribbage, reading, traveling, and watching The Young and The Restless.
Those left to cherish her loving memories are her husband of 49 years Neal Telford, of Norwalk, Iowa; daughters Amy White, of Nowalk, Iowa, Ann (Mike) Musfeldt, of Grimes, Iowa, Amber Ancona, of Des Moines, Iowa, and Adina Dina (Talon) Telford, of Maxwell, Iowa; 12 grandchildren Bethany (Rocky) Gabriel, Brent White, Cassie White, Clay White, Chris Hoffman, Cory (Kelly) Hoffman, Samantha Ancona, Sergio Ancona, Saul Ancona, Tynan Telford, Toriah Telford, and Tyr Telford; 4 great-grandchildren RJ Gabriel, David Gabriel, Andrew Hoffman, and Caleb Hoffman; brother John (LuAnne) Davis; sister-in-laws Joan Davis, and Ginnie Davis; many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Jerry Davis, Jim Davis, and Jack Davis; and sister-in-law Mary Ellen Davis.
