In loving memory of

Brooke Hannah Meyer
March 1, 1984 - August 30, 2016

Brooke Hannah Meyer, formerly Fullmer, died on August 30, 2016 in the University of Iowa Hospital. She was born on March 1, 1984 in Ames, Iowa, making her 32 years old at passing. She was taken much too soon from this world but she is now free from her sick body and her daily struggles.

Brooke graduated from Johnston High School in 2002. Her career of choice for most of her life was to be a waitress because she loved interacting with her customers. She was a passionate artist and loved to paint. Brooke was an avid sports fan, and loved her Cyclones, Cowboys, and Cubbies. She was such a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and wife and would help anyone in any way she could. Family and friends from all over will miss her kindness and sense of humor dearly.

Brooke is preceded in death by her grandparents Lenard and VeDonna Liming, and Robert and Mary Louise Fullmer; by her Aunt Julie; and by her beloved pets, Oscar and Beefcake. She is survived by her mother Linda Fullmer; father and stepmother Brad and Laura Fullmer; her sister Hilary Fullmer; sister and brother in-law Celia and Josh Smith; her niece and nephews, Ethan, Dylan, and Elliana Smith; her little brothers Blane and Blake Fullmer; her husband Ben Meyer and his family.

A funeral service will be held at the Lutheran Church of Hope in Ankeny on Friday, September 2nd at 10:30 a.m. with a lunch at the church following.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to be made to Lutheran Church of Hope Celebrate Recovery Program in Ankeny.
