In loving memory of

David Langloss
April 16, 1944 - November 11, 2015

David Langloss, 71 of Jewell passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. A memorial service will be held at Fredregill Funeral Home, 310 N. Center Street, in Zearing on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 10 a.m. Burial will be held at a later date.

David was born in Riverside, California to Alfred and Eloise (Baughman) Langloss on April 16, 1944. He grew up in Allerton, Iowa and attended school there. Following school he worked at Roberts Dairy and later NPI Security. He married Carolyn Jackson and to this union four children were born. David had a great love for his family and enjoyed every minute with them. His other hobbies included fishing, camping, listening to old country music, meeting new friends and talking with old ones, watching and collecting anything with John Wayne, and woodworking.

Those left to cherish his loving memories are Carolyn his wife of 49 years; his children Mary Kay (John) Davis, Raymond (Reta) Langloss, Tonya (Steve) Lancaster, and Dawn (Jonathan) Hudnell; adopted son Chris Barten; 18 grandkids, 9 great-grandchildren; sister Judy Anderson; aunt Lecine Stroud; cousins Ronald (Mary) Stroud, Roger Stroud, Ronnie (Kathy) Terrell, Leroy (Marlene) Spencer and family, and LeRoy (Patsy) Langloss; family friends Deb and Tally Elding; sister-in-law Linda (Ken) Rockhold; brother-in-laws Raymond (Jolene) Jackson, and Larry (Jean) Jackson; the entire Pritchett family; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Donald and an infant brother Thomas 'Tommy',grandson Hope, his father-in-law Cecil Jackson and mother-in-law Myrtle Jackson.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in Davids name.

"Dad- You will never truly know the depth of my love for you. You were the very best man I have ever known. I think back on so many times in my life and you were always there for me. From teaching me to ride a bike, to holding my hand when I was scared. You were the most polite, tender hearted, caring and compassionate man and I truly admire you for that.
