Linda McAfee, 71 of Des Moines, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the Taylor Hospice House in Des Moines, Iowa. Celebration of life services will be on her birthdate, August 26, 2015. Location and service time are still pending.



Linda was born on August 26, 1943 to Bill and Vivian (Meeling) Moore in Grinnell, Iowa. She attended school in Grinnell. She was a hard working waitress most all of her life. Linda loved spending time with her family, drinking Busch beer, watching NASCAR, cheering on Dale Earnhart Sr. and Jr., and playing with her cat.



Those left to celebrate Lindas memories are her daughters Lyna (Dale) Kain, of Des Moines, IA, and Brenda (Joe) Foley, of Des Moines, IA; grandchildren Jack (Kristina) Kain, Chad Kain, Tim Kain, Jolene Foley, James Foley, and Jessy Foley; 12 great-grandkids; brothers Bill Moore of California, Jim Moore of California, and Larry (Queenie) Moore of Iowa; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.



Linda was preceded in death by her parents, sister Edna Mae Spieck, her niece Diane and husband George Davis.



Memorial contributions may be directed to the Taylor Hospice House in Lindas memory.



Celebrate Life Iowa has been entrusted with the cremation care of Linda.
