Conrad C. Maggard, 80, journeyed to heaven on Wednesday Jan. 14th at Methodist Hospital. A Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. at First Federated Church in Des Moines.
Conrad was born May 26, 1934 to Loren and Doris Maggard in Beaconsfield, IA. He was a State General Agent for American Income Life Insurance and had his own agency in Altoona. He had a smile for everyone and always emphasized the positive in life. He was a mentor to many.
Conrad is survived by his wife of 57 years, Maxine; son Lance (Debra); daughter Sherri Eastridge (Tony); and granddaughter Madeline Eastridge, the apple of his eye.
He will be greatly missed.
