Nancy Kay Munn
November 10, 1935 - January 11, 2015

Nancy Kay Munn age 79 of Searsboro, passed away Sunday morning January 11,2015 at the Pella Comfort House.

Nancy was born on November 10, 1935 in Oswego, Kansas. She was the daughter of Velma O. OFarrell and Ralph C. Livick. On June 20, 1954 Nancy married her high school sweetheart Stanley Arnold Munn Sr. They were blessed with two children Stanley Jr and Pamela. They lived in California until 1973 when they came to Iowa and bought the family farm. They were blessed to share over 60 years of marriage before Nancys passing.

Nancy loved to paint, spend time going to auto auctions and just being with her husband and helping him mask cars to be painted. They enjoyed going to Midwest Old Threshers each year and also did a lot of traveling before Nancys health became too poor to enjoy that. Her family was very important to her and spending time with them was one of her passions.

Nancy is preceded in death by her mother Velma, her father Ralph, stepmother Katherine, and her brother Ronald. She is survived by her husband Stanley Arnold Munn Sr., her son Stanley Arnold Munn Jr. (Lisa), Her daughter Pamela Ann Sevits (Jerry). One sister Barbara (Linn) Farrier. Four grandchildren Samantha (Jim) Farnum, Stanley Robert (Kim) Munn, Timothy (Tara) Sevits, Tiffany (John) OHenry and seven great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday January 25, 2015 from 2-4 for family and friends to come and share memories together at the New Sharon City Park Building.

Memorials may be made to the dialysis unit at Pella Regional Health Center where Nancy did dialysis for 5 years and made many friends.
