In loving memory of

Diane Downhour
May 24, 1953 - December 9, 2014

Diane Lynn Downhour died peacefully with her daughter by her side in Norwalk on Tuesday morning, December 9th, 2014 the age of 61.

Diane is survived by her daughter Pam Roush, son-in-law Marty Roush and two grandchildren Jacob and Jordan.

Diane was born on May 24, 1953 in Riverside, California. She moved back to Iowa when she was a baby to be with her grandparents and extended family. She lived almost all of her years in the Sioux City and Sergeant Bluff, Iowa Area. Diane met Ross late in life in Sioux City and had only a short time with him but loved him dearly.

Diane enjoyed watching TV, going to movies, and talking with friends and family on the phone. Diane loved to spend time with her daughter and grandchildren. She traveled to many different states (Minnesota, Kansas, and Utah) to see them and she enjoyed when they would visit her. She cherished the time she had with Ross and the love he shared with her.

Diane was preceded in death by her companion Ross Casey, Grandmother, Grandfather and many Aunts and Uncles.

Diane will be cremated and her ashes will be scattered in the ocean according to her wishes. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Sergeant Bluff Warrior Zone Athletic Boosters: Care of Chad Moore, Activity Director, 201 Port Neil Rd., Sgt. Bluff, Iowa 51054.

The family would like to thank Siouxland PACE, Touchstone Living Center in Sioux City, Regency Care Center of Norwalk and Mercy Hospice in Des Moines for their efforts and dedication. Special thanks to Chris and Keith Kilpatrick who gave their time and energy to help Diane throughout her life and especially in the later years.
