"Carolyn was a very good friend to all of us here at the Star Motel. I am glad that I spoke with her a few days before she left us. She always spoke kind words and gave me good advice to me when I was going through Chemo, and what foods that I should eat. We loved her friendship and we will miss her dearly. God will be taking great care of her and I am sad that we lost her here on earth, but I know that she is in great hands with our Lord and Savior. And what a great photo of her that you posted. I want to remember her just like the photo that I see of her. Dodie, mgr of the Star Motel, Waverly, Iowa."

"I remember growing up with cousin Carolyn. We use to have puzzle contests. No one could beat her because she was so fast. I remember going to her house and my Dad would do his famous magician tricks. We had a lot of fun together. So sorry she had to pass away so young. My heart goes out to the family. She will be missed. From Jean L'Huillier"
