Larry Ladon Gipson

Larry Ladon Gipson was born October 1, 1958 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was taken to our Heavenly Father on September 17, 2018.
Larry was very special to his family, he was the fifth of seven children and the only male born to Malvin and Omie Gipson.
He attended Omaha Public Schools and upon graduation, Larry began classes at the University of Nebraska at Omaha(UNO), where he majored in Art. He was a gifted artist, who used art to express what words often could not.
Larry was also very passionate about gardening. He spent countless hours perfecting and tending to his garden. Larry's greatest joy was fishing and watching the Cornhuskers play football. He was an avid and faithful fan.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Malvin Gipson. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Omie Lee Gipson; sisters, Valesteen (Alfred) Johnson (Plainfield, IL.), Olevia (William) White, Lyndell Crooms, Brenda (Gene) Smith, Sandra Gipson (Omaha, NE.), Patricia (Marvin) Whitfield (Missouri City, TX); and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
