Donald L. Taylor
January 13, 1926 - August 27, 2018

Donald L. Taylor, 92, of Elmwood, passed away at 10:25 a.m., on Monday, August 27, 2018, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
He was born on January 13, 1926, in Yates City, to Loyd and Sarah (Walker) Taylor. Donald married Dorothy Jones on March 24, 1946, in Denver Colorado. She preceded him in death in 2014.
He is survived by two children, Richard (Gayla) Taylor of Elmwood and Ann (the late Tom) Kennedy; four grandchildren, Chad (Ermila Hernandez) Kennedy, Lindsay (Brett) Powers, Erin (Drew) Bowald, and Erik (Lauren) Taylor; and six great-grandchildren, Grant, Gracyn, Gweny, Natalie, Addi, and Dillan.
Donald served in the Air Force from 1945 to 1947. He was an Agent for Standard Oil Company. Donald was also a member of the Faith United Presbyterian Church in Yates City as well as a past member of the Odd Fellows and Masons.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at the Elmwood United Methodist Church, with a visitation one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the church. Burial will immediately follow the service at Elmwood Township Cemetery.

"So sorry for your loss. I remember when Pastor Brad was at our church-Elmwood United Methodist Church. My job was to call people llke Don to make appointments for the Pastor I enjoyed talking to Don when I got the chance. He was a nice guy and I am sure he will be missed!"
