"I'll always treasure the good times I had when visiting Betty and her family through the years. She was always my favorite aunt. I miss all the laughter. They have always been my special friends. I often recall the great times with Betty Carl and my Cousins in Connecticut. It has been too many years and too many miles as we have spread over the Unites States. May Peace be with her at this time. Roger Pam Rodney and Steve know that you have our sympathy. If there is anything we can do please call. Also know that she is not alone and with many old friends. I wish we could make it back to share this time with you. Take care. Bob & Lori May You Tread lightly on your search for the wayAlways keeping the warmth in your soul May your spirit shine oh so brightly For the world to see as you go."

"To my Betty...This is so hard I miss you so much words cannot explain. There is a hole in my heart now that can never be filled. I want to thank you for teaching me how important family is..and please know that you did a great job with yours. We all love you so very much. You were a survivor no one can doubt that. I am so thankful you were here to see me become a mother I hope I make you proud. I will miss that cute smile and the way you always made me laugh (thank you for passing on that sense of humor). There is part of you in all of us. The world has lost a beautiful soul. You are my angel and I am so sad our time was cut short. I will cherish all the memories and thank you so much for being my grandmother!! I love you always"
