Ella M. Flint age 97 of Maquoketa Iowa and formerly of Andrew Iowa died on Wednesday morning December 222004.0 at the Maquoketa Care Center in Maquoketa Iowa.



A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 11A.M. Friday December 242004.0 from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa Iowa. Visitation will be held from 9 A.M. until 11 A.M. Service Time on Friday December 242004.0 from the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa Iowa. Burial will be in the Andrew Iowa Cemetery.



Ella M. Meyers was born on January 6 1907 in Ayrshire Iowa to Edward Meyers and Caroline (Gletty) Meyers. She was a graduate of Ruthven Iowa High School. She married Eber V. Flint on March 27 1927 in Burlington Iowa. He preceded her in death on November 25 1985.



Ella was a devoted housewife and homemaker. She was a member of the Andrew Presbyterian Church the Andrew Petal Pals Club and the United Presbyterian Women. She enjoyed baking and cooking and was known for her chocolate chip cookies brownies and cinnamon rolls. She loved her family and considered them the most important part of her life.



Ella is survived by: a daughter- Brenda(Mrs. David) Boynton of Bettendorf IA; a son-in-law- Max Sommers of Maquoketa IA; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces & nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents her husband a daughter- Barbara Sommers on May 231993.0 & a grandson- Gary Sommers.
