"Dear family of Douglas Freeman, We are so sorry for your loss! He called us just a couple weeks ago to express he sadness for the loss of our Aunt Shirley. It was then he told me of his illness. We wanted to stop and visit him as he was so sad on the phone. We regret so that we did not just jump in the car and come over then. His visit a few years ago to show us a fossil was most enjoyable! My husband, Doug, was very fond of him. We pray for peace for your family. Doug Harman and family"
"Brian, Condolences to you and your family for this difficult time. Our thoughts are with you. "
"Suzanne and family, I would like to offer my condolences to you all at this difficult time of Doug's passing. He was a good friend of many years and a person of genuine honesty and integrity. I saw Doug infrequently in recent years but was able to have breakfast with him and other Canton friends a few times not long ago. Best wishes and God's blessings to all the Freeman family. Delano Kruzan"
