"A few years ago, Joy, Julie and myself traveled to Minnesota, where I had the pleasure of meeting Joy's Uncle, Delbert. On our first day, Delbert took me to his garage and showed me a true masterpiece and that was his '57 Chevy convertible. Delbert and I are true car guys and we hit it off right away. Delbert made me feel very welcome and treated me like family. I studied Delbert's car carefully and would encourage everyone to do the same. The car had Delbert's hands, heart and soul on every square inch of it. The car spoke volumes of who he was. That old '57 testified of a man full of passion, love, determination, leadership, grace and commitment. A true man and whom we should all live to be. Thank you, Delbert. You will be missed greatly and remembered. Kirk Prewitt"

"Julie and I would like to offer you and your family our deepest and most sincere condolences. May Delbert's soul rest in eternal peace. Always remember that those we love don't merely go away when they pass, they walk beside us every day - unseen and unheard - but always near. Cherish the memories of him and the times together and pause now and then to give a wink or two, as he is watching over all of you - while drinking coffee with Grandma and smiling. Love Joy Hendershot & Julie Morales "

You have helped me become that person that I am today. I am going to miss the comments, the looks, everything. So many people loved you, more than you will ever know. I love you so very much! We have another amazing angel looking over us all"
