Joy Ann Davis
St David Joy Ann Davis, 75, of St. David, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2015, at 11:30 pm, at the Unity Point Methodist Hospital in Peoria.
She was born on February 5, 1940 in Astoria to Clyde and Emma Grisalano Ewing. They preceded her in death,
She married Terry A. Davis on April 7, 1973 in St David. He survives.
Also surviving are her children Greg Strode of St David, Ronnie (Kelly) Strode of Bader, Melanie (Gzim) Abazi of Newark IL, Russell Davis of St David, brother John (Glenda) Ewing of College Station TX, grandchildren, Chelsea Strode of Normal and Rylee Strode of Bader.
She was also preceded in death by her twin sister Joyce Lee Ewing.
Joy retired from FCRC in 2002 as a job coach. She was a member of the St David Methodist Church where she played the organ and piano. Together with her husband she enjoyed spending the winter months in Port Aransas Texas.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a visitation one hour prior.
Burial will be held at the Highbridge cemetery in Dunfermline.
Memorials may be made to the St David Optimist Club.
