Sandra S. Lansford, 67, of Yates City, passed away at 11:08 p.m., September 25, 2016, at her home. She was born on July 14, 1949, in LaHarpe, IL, to Woodrow and Nedra (Starky) VanWinkle. She married John Lansford on November 8, 1969, in Fountain Green, IL. He preceded her in death on August 24, 2015. Surviving are two children, John W. Lansford, Jr., and Terry R. (Julie Roberts) Lansford; one brother, Rick VanWinkle; one sister, Brenda VanWinkle; and two grandchildren, Adam and Chelsea Lansford. She was preceded in death by her parents.
