"YOU HAVE MY SYMPATHY AND PRAYERS. JOHN WAS A VERY THOUGHTFUL PERSON. WHEN MY HUSBAND WAS INVOLVED WITH THE FOOD PANTRY, JOHN WOULD TAKE HIS OLD PICKUP AND TRAVEL TO DES MOINES TO THE IA FOOD BANK FOR GROCERIES FOR THE ALGONA PANTRY. HE WAS ALWAYS READY TO DO HIS PART, ONE TIME MY HUSBAND TOLD HIM THAT HE HAD A HOLE IN THE FLOOR OF THE PICKUP AND HE JUST SAID THAT WAS OK. PLUS THAT TIME HE HAD A SORE FOOT AND DROVE THE WHOLE WAY WITHOUT A SHOE ON. HE WAS A KIND AND GENEROUS PERSON. HE IS IN MY PRAYERS. "
