Sherry G. Kueck

Sheryll Gertrude (Sherry) Kueck was born August 27, 1943, in Algona, Iowa, to Paul and Irene (Johnson) McNeill. Sherry graduated from Algona High School, and Iowa Lakes Community College. On January 19, 1963, Sherry was united in marriage to Lynn R. Kueck in Algona. Following their marriage, Sherry spent many years in the business world, working in banking and finance. Always wanting to teach, Sherry went back to school and received her teaching degree in Elementary Education from Buena Vista College. She taught 5th grade for many years for the CWL School system at the Wesley center. Sherry enjoyed listening to gospel music but spending time with her grandchildren was the delight of her life and sustained her in her last years.
Survivors include her husband Lynn of Algona; her daughter Karla Miller and husband Eric of Algona and their two children, Matthew and Faith Miller; her mother Irene McNeill of Spirit Lake, Iowa; her brother Ted McNeill and wife Sharon of Afton, Iowa; and her sisters Rachel Vick and husband Bill of Loveland, Colorado and Kathy McNeill of Spirit Lake, Iowa. Sherry was preceded in death by her father, her daughter Kristine and granddaughter Joy.
