Keith Duane Neuroth was born on June 9, 1943, at Wesley, Iowa to Urban and Rosella Hildman Neuroth. He received his education at the St. Joseph Catholic School in Wesley. Keith was married to Janice Elsbecker at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wesley. The couple lived in Wesley, where they raised their family and where Keith owned and operated the Neuroth Sawmill for the last 10 years. Keith was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wesley. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing but his greatest joy in life was spending time with all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren and was very proud of them all.
Keith passed away peacefully at his home in Wesley after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by family on Sunday, October 2, 2005.
Keith is survived by his loving wife, Janice of Wesley, Iowa and his daughters, Sheila Troxel, Forest City, Iowa, Lori Patterson, Nebraska City, Nebraska and Amy Schutjer and husband, Greg, Titonka, Iowa. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Victoria, Tabetha, Tenijha, Tanisha, Hunter, McKaila, Gwendolyn, Alandra and 2 great grandchildren, Jerome and Pashia. Keith is also survived by sisters, Marlene Rowe and husband, Norman, Harrison, Arkansas, Elaine Hoffman and husband, Kenneth, Marshalltown, Iowa and brothers, Michael Neuroth and wife, Connie, Seven Points, Texas and David Neuroth and wife, Lou Ann Wesley, Iowa.
Keith was preceded in death by his infant son Duane, his parents, Urban and Rosella Neuroth and his step-mother, Beatrice Neuroth.
