"To the Kahler family. I am very proud to have know Ben when growing up in Burt, but it was an honor to have him as one of our Veterans. He was very proud of his country and the title "Veteran." Ben would come into my office in Algona, always with a smile on his face and would say "I would take a cup of coffee if you have some." He was one of the kindest men I have ever known, he always had kind words to say and nothing bad about anyone. Rest in peace my friend and United States Veteran. God Bless each of you, the Lord has received a beautiful angel. "
