     Paul “Junior” Reps, Jr. , 77, of Fremont died Saturday evening from injuries sustained in a single vehicle auto accident in Saratoga Township of Winona County.
     Paul was born February 27, 1925 in Minnesota City to Paul Reps Sr. and Barbara (Denzer) Reps. He attended Enterprise School. On August 28, 1948 Paul and Jeanette Randall were married in Winona. The couple farmed in the Fremont area their entire married life. Jeanette died March 31, 2001. Paul will always be remembered for his love of farming, his zest for life and his laugh.
He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ/ Evangelical Lutheran Church in America at Lewiston, where he served on various committees. He also served on the Fremont Creamery Board.
      Survivors include two sons, Randy (Lori) of Lewiston and Dean (Kristi) of Utica, two daughters Leann (Ordell) Jacobson of Rushford and Lonna (Dave) Benson of Lewiston, 17 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, four brothers Robert (Betty) of Lewiston; Elmer (Lillian) and Doug both of St. Charles; Richard (Beverly) of Utica, a sister Fern (Leon) Kieffer of St. Charles, two sister-in-laws, Julia Reps of Greeley, CO and Marcie Reps of Lewiston. In addition to his wife Jeanette, an infant son, an infant grandson, and two brothers preceded him in death.
     Funeral Services will be 1:30 PM Wednesday at St. Paul’s UCC/ ELCA in Lewiston with the Rev. Roy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Lewiston Public Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 – 8 PM Tuesday at Hoff Funeral Home’s – Lewiston Chapel. They may also call one hour before services Wednesday at the church.
     In Lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be given in memory of Paul to St. Paul’s Church building fund.
     Hoff Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
