Genevieve R. Rothering, 59, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at her home in Minnesota City, MN. Genevieve was born July 8, 1949, in Winona, MN, to Otis and Ruth (Lampman) Pomeroy. She married Allen L. Rothering on September 2, 1968. She had worked at Peerless Chain for many years. Genevieve enjoyed quilting, crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Allen; three children, Allen O. (Kathy) Rothering of Rollingstone, MN, Dawn Rothering of Sacramento, CA, and Crystal (Richard) Morsolek of Rollingstone, MN; five grandchildren, Aleesha and Adam Rothering, Jacob Rothering, and Zac and Malakai Morsolek; four brothers, Duane (Sheila) Pomeroy of Winona, MN, Clarence (Bonnie) Pomeroy of Minnesota City, MN, Lawrence (Dorothy) Pomeroy of Winona, MN, and Otis (Penny) Pomeroy of Milwaukee, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
