Chris Jones wrote on Dec 22, 2009:

"I have a very fond memory of Clayton from kindergarten (and the only other things I remember from kindergarten were Mrs. Morrell, the Peter Rabbit play we put on, and how cool I thought my locker was). I was home on my birthday, and my mom called me to the front door to let me know I had a visitor. Clayton had come over with a gift for me and I was, of course, embarrassed and elated all at once. We sat and had grape kool aid together. That tiny, little half-hour period of time is something I still think of...he made me feel so special! I guess you never know how you might influence people, and I'm so glad I knew him back then. What a kind soul! I hope the family is comforted knowing that he made a difference in lots of people's lives--whether big or small, his life mattered. Many blessings to everyone that knew him and loved him. Sincerely, Chris"
