Robert Keller Wilson

Robert Keller Wilson, 77, died Sunday, May 30, 2010, at his home following a two year battle with cancer. Robert was born August 3, 1932, in Harvard, NE, to Robert J. and Pearl (Keller) Wilson. He married Joyce Winfrey on December 31, 1953, in Castle Rock, CO. Robert served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956. Robert was a professor at Winona State University where he was employed as a librarian for 29 years. He was a member of McKinley United Methodist Church, the Elks Club in Goodview, and the American Legion in Winona. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and playing cards with his friends at the Elks Club.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce; three children, Tanya (Terry) Hurlburt of Friendswood, TX, and their children, Alex and Katrina; Robert J. (Lori) Wilson of Eagan, MN, and their children, Whitney, Kelly, Derek and Brett, and grandson, Dylan; and John (Michelle) Wilson of Rosemount, MN, and their children, Madeline and Jacob. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dale Edward.
