"Dear Deb and Family Very sorry for your loss, many years have passed since we camped at along the Mississippi, and our fathers worked together. I truly cherish those memories of spending time with you and your family. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your father and you are in my thoughts and prayers."
"Dick was a warm and personable man who never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all and I feel blessed for having been given the opportunity to meet and get to know him. I will miss his phone calls telling us to take care of his beloved daughter, Deborah Marie."
"I have many fond memories of "Uncle Dickie!" He was certainly a very unique person to say the least. I think of him every time I turn the lights on in my bedroom at my house in the country. He made my lamp and it always makes me happy to see it light up! I also have great memories of him from the time when I was very young. I enjoyed fishing with him and cousin Buzz and especially at Port Washington, Wisconsin. He will certainly be missed!!!"
"Our rememberance of Dick Rolbiecki goes back more than 40 years. Goes back to Stan's dad, Joe Bush, coming from Chicago with friends to go fishing with Dick & Bob in the 1960's, to catch those big fish only Dick & Bob knew where to find; also some years Joe's son Joseph, Stan, Alan and Bob would vacation--they all enjoyed their week vacation out in Minnesota at the Bass Camp. Joe Bush Sr. enjoyed Minnesota so much he moved his family from Chicago to Minnesota City where the family operated the L-Cove till the 1980's when Joe and his wife retired in Minnesota. Stan & Marie's memories are from the L-Cove where Dick was a frequent customer, Dick was always easy for us to talkk with and we became friends. Dick came to our wedding in Chicago in 1971 and enjoyed an old fashion Chicago wedding. After the wedding we kept in touch wiht Dick, seeing him at various stores and locations in the Winona area, especially the last few years when shopping at Hy-Vee, Dick would always ask how the Bush family was doing. Our deepest sympathy to the Rolbiecki family. We will miss Dick for the friend he was to the Bush family."
