Bettie Ditsworth wrote on Aug 5, 2015:
"Rueben and the whole Eldal family hold a special place in our hearts. Our friendship started at Methodist Hospital in DesMoines when Marlene and our daughter Lisa were both in intensive care there. Never a nicer man, so caring and thoughtful. It was a privilege to know them both. "
Louise Ludwig wrote on Aug 2, 2015:
"Rueban was so special to my parents Nick and Lucy Amoroso. These two men first met in the U S Army and it was a friendship that would truly last a lifetime. It is with much sadness we learn of his passing. Condolences to the entire Eldal family. Thinking of you at this difficult time."
