Valerie Donna Falk

Valerie Falk, 60, of Carson, Iowa passed away at the Hospice with Heart House in Glenwood, Iowa on July 27, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Carson Cemetery in Carson, Iowa with Rev. Mike Harvey Officiating.

Valerie Donna Sargent, daughter of Donald Eugene and Barbara Ellen McKee Sargent, was born on February 22, 1953 in Oceanside, California. She grew up in Anaheim, California where she received her education. Following graduation from Katella High School in 1971, she moved to Carson, Iowa.
On September 2, 1972 she married William Don Falk in Carson, Iowa. This marriage was blessed with two daughters, Jessica and Lacey. The couple was married for 39 years when Bill passed away on November 8, 2011. She kept busy helping around the farm and raising her two daughters. She enjoyed her flower garden, refurbishing old furniture, collecting antiques, watching cooking shows on television and also loved animals. Some of her favorite memories while growing up were of times spent vacationing with her family at the Colorado River and riding dune buggies and motorcycles in the desert.
Valerie is survived by her daughters; Jessica Falk of Council Bluffs and Lacey (David) Boruff of Carson; mother-in-law, Alice Falk of Carson; sister-in-law, Barb Falk of Pacific Junction; nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Valerie is preceded in death by her husband, Bill and both her parents.
