Deborah Gilliland, 50, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.
Memorial services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, March 16, 2013 in the chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral home with Rev. Richard Laird officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn cemetery in Lehigh, Iowa. The visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
Deborah is survived by her husband, David; sons, Calvin (Karri) Jones of Otho and Saul (Kaitlyn) Jones of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Aiden, Alexzander, Aryen, Sequoyah, and Clare; step-sons, Dan Gilliland, Wade Gilliland, and Ben Gilliland, all of Fort Dodge; brothers, Bart May of Lincoln, NE and Dwight Andrews of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Laurel Schaefer of Garland, TX; and step-mother, Barb May of Dayton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Beverly (Johnson) May and her brother, Jeff Andrews.
Deborah Colleen May was born June 1, 1962 in Lincoln, NE. She attended schools in Lincoln and graduated from Lincoln High School. In 1995 Debbie and her future husband, David, moved to Fort Dodge. They were later united in marriage on December 27, 2003. Debbie and her family continued to live in Fort Dodge. Besides being a loving mother, Debbie enjoyed volunteering her time at the ReStore.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
