us Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loved to spend time with family, he was HUGE on family. He loved his kids and grandchildren so much. He was an active grandfather and would go beyond when it came to his grandson. Maurice was there for anybody and EVERYBODY, he never judges anybody. He had a heart of gold for sure. If one thing he preached was to not let anger consume you he wanted to teach about forgiveness because he out of everybody knew, we were all human and we're bound to make mistakes. Maurice has a background of serving our country in the U.S. Navy once he graduated from Central High School. He's been to many different states with many different backgrounds. He was a man that could adapt to anything anywhere any surrounding. One thing for sure is he knew how to hustle, and he was a math whiz when it came to education. He swam like a fish. He was always up and about moving around "in other words getting into some stuff" but that's another subject. Maurice was loved by so many people. He was able to pick up a conversation with any and everybody. Although he made mistakes he still went beyond learning from his mistakes and to do was right he was going beyond to find peace and to learn from past trauma. He will truly truly be missed. When he made it to heaven god said get in here you made it "my boy" because he really did make changes to turn his life around. You can always catch him in the kitchen or on the grill with a steal reserve and a pack of cigarettes that the secret ingredient to his good cooking skills. Maurice fed the entire neighborhood. During his younger days this man was the best "juggle low" you would ever meet he just had his ways with words and a charm you couldn't deny. He would call himself Dirty Redd because he got all the ladies but to me he was just a rolling stone and my goofy father. Age could not define the youth of this man. He was young until the day god called him home. Maurice was the life of the party everywhere he went. This man was so full of life and dancing. Tupac was one of his favorite artist "he was not into new rappers". But one thing for sure, you will always catch him playing some Tupac. To many this may be sad but when it comes down to it, he's at peace joining his brother and parents .. until we all meet again stay safe. Goodbye ... Dear Daddy, I never understood any of the sacrifices you've made until I had to grow up and go through my own. One thing for sure besides being you and mom love child. You felt, you taught me the greatest thing in life. how to ride a bike, swim, cook, use my voice when things aren't right and I'm forever grateful for what you installed in me. You gave me your charm when it came to having things my way. We may have not always seen eye to eye but always talked about what needed to be said and I'm at peace. I didn't get enough time, but I do remember every good time. I love you and thank you for everything you taught me. Message from Isaiah PawPaw, I will miss your pancakes you make, your smile, hugs, fighting with you, and the summers with you. I will miss my holidays with you in general. You've taught me to ride a bike. You played with me even when you were tired. You went beyond me. I am your voice. I know you will watch over me. I will miss drinking "Pop" with you lol. While we cook on the grilled, until next time pawpaw I will continue to make you proud.
