Mr. Ladura Thornton, age 65, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, June 23, 2019. He was born in East Chicago, IN on July 10, 1953 to Boyd & Laura Sue (Gordon) Thornton and married the former Betty Brown. Mr. Thornton had been employed at CMI in Fruitport, Furniture industry in Omaha Nebraska and a self-employed handyman & landscaper. Ladura was a member of Our Father's Church and enjoyed fishing, watching cowboy movies, listening to Blues music and taking care of his mom.

Wells, James (Theresa) Thornton, Loretta Briggs, Jackie (Johnny) Robinson, Toni (Victor) Johnson, Valeria Mickens, Louis (Angela) Donley Sr., Louis Donley Jr.; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. He was preceded in death by his father, wife Betty & nephew Brandon Donley.
