Parris LaShay Hobbs was born on January 27, 1983 to Michelle S. Hurley and Harry C. Hobbs. When she was two years old, she gained a bonus father, Terry L. Jackson.
Parris accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at Greater Galilee M.B. Church, where she was baptized at 9 years old. She soon joined her family at First Christian Missionary Baptist Church and served in many ministries. As an adult, she joined Living Water Fellowship Church. She had very strong faith in the Lord and made sure to share that influence with her children, Rahmon, London and Jordan enrolling them at Turning Point Schools.
Parris was an impeccable hair stylist and worked professionally at Kroger's Deli in many roles for more than 10 years where she met many friends and serviced many.
Parris was loved to laugh and spend time with her family and boys. She fought a strong battle against breast cancer. She passed away peacefully on June 16th, 2019 with her family and loved ones right by her side. She leaves many to cherish her memory.
