their lives in Oskaloosa, raising their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marge's entire life was focused on her love for her family and especially for her great grand-children Bailey and Henry. They looked forward to attending their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren's activities. In later years, although, physical limitations made it difficult for her to attend, her commitment to her family always prevailed and she made sure she was present. She was a member of the Gateway Nazarene Church for over 40 years, where she always enjoyed mother daughter activities and the Hope Dinner. Marge always looked forward to getting together with her close friends and co-workers. Sunday evening "Bored Meetings" with a group of close friends including: Chuck and Joan LaRue, Merle and Donna Minter, DeLynn Minter, Kay and Roger Swanson, Jimmy and Becky Carter, and Del Bittner, were always a highlight of the week for Marge.
Marge is survived by her husband of 63 years, Rex W. McFall of Oskaloosa, her son Ronald (Miriam) McFall of Savage, Minnesota; and their two children, Alanna McFall and Devron McFall, her daughter Sherry Lynn Vogt of Oskaloosa; and her children Seana Vogt, Holly Vogt (Craig Neves) and Treyton McFall and two very special great grandchildren, Bailey and Henry. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Dottie Hawkinson of Chariton and Gerri (McFall) Visser of Oskaloosa.
She was preceded in death by: her parents Lloyd and Wilma Hawkinson; her two brothers William Hawkinson and John Hawkinson; sister-in-law Phyllis Hawkinson; her in-laws, Harry and Effie McFall; her sister-in-law Gladys Foster; and brothers-in-law Junior Foster and Howard and Dale McFall.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. in the Gateway Church of the Nazarene in Oskaloosa with Pastor Mike Sereg officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will begin Tuesday after 12:30 p.m. in the Gateway Church of the Nazarene and the family will be at the Gateway Church from 5-7 Tuesday evening to greet friends and relatives. Memorials may be made to the Oskaloosa Middle School Life Skills Program.
