James Marshall Anderson was born on January 8th, 1925 to Marshall and Jenny Anderson in Lexington, KY. He enlisted in the United States Army as teenager and was a veteran of World War II. There he learned the trade of bricklaying and became a mason bricklayer.
Brother James accepted Christ and joined the Church of Christ at an early age and loved talking about the Lord with his family and friends. In his leisure, he loved to watch Western movies. In addition, he loved to dress nice and wear cologne.
James Anderson was truly blessed. He was born on January 8th, 1925 and departed this life on October 12th, 2018. He is preceded in death by his loving parents Marshall and Jenny Anderson, beloved sister, Gladys Anderson Downey, and son Claude Vertner. He leaves to cherish his memory Littie Anderson- Cole, mother of his children, sons, Roger Anderson and Ted Vertner, daughters Jennifer Preston, Jo Van Anderson, and Joy Toliver, niece, Cynthia Downey, nephew, Steven A. Downey, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
